These terms are an agreement between you and Lazer Forms (we, us). By making an account, or by using a workspace someone invited you to, you agree to them. If you use Lazer Forms for an organisation, you agree for that organisation too.

What the service is

Lazer Forms lets you build forms, share them by link or QR code, and collect what people send. Each workspace has its own forms, lists, people, and plan. Submissions are stored, turned into a PDF, and emailed to the people you choose.

Your account

• Give a real email address and keep it working. We send the codes that sign you in to it.
• Keep that inbox to yourself. Anyone who can read it can sign in as you, and you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account belongs to one person. Invite your colleagues instead of sharing a login.

Workspaces and roles

The person who makes a workspace owns it. Owners and admins build forms and manage people. Members read submissions. An owner decides who is in the workspace and can delete it.

Your content

You own your forms and the submissions you collect. You give us the right to store, copy, and process them only as needed to run the service for you: to show them, email them, print them to PDF, and back them up. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train models.

You are responsible for what your forms ask for and for having the right to collect it. The people who fill in your forms are your responsibility, not ours. Tell them what you collect and why.

Acceptable use

Follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no phishing, no collecting passwords, card numbers, or bank logins, nothing illegal, and nothing that harms the service or other people. We hold forms and suspend workspaces that break it.

Plans and payment

• The free plan is free and has limits. The limits are shown on the billing screen.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in USD through Stripe, in advance. Local taxes may apply.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing screen. The plan stays until the end of the month you paid for. We do not refund part months.
• If a payment fails and is not fixed, the workspace moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, and we keep backups. We do not promise it will never be down. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose: the export on the settings screen gives you every form and submission.

Suspension and ending

You can delete a workspace, or your account, at any time. We may hold a form, suspend a workspace, or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or that puts other people at risk. Where we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. A suspended workspace can still sign in and export its data.

Our liability

The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, or business. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law that cannot be taken away.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we email the owners of each workspace before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the change.
